A Brutal Drive!

After my stay New Orleans the plan was to drive due west and spend a couple of days in Austin, TX. When that plan fell through I decided to head in a northwesterly direction to Fort Worth, TX, home to Billy Bob's Texas (BBT), the self proclaimed "World's Largest Honky Tonk." At 127,000 square feet it certainly was a biggie. I had to check it out.

So after another lackadaisical start I left New Orleans for Fort Worth. It took close to nine hours. By the time I arrived at the hotel it was evening and I had little interest in anything but rest. I decided to stay in, write a little, and visit BBT the following day.
